Footprint Introductions

 Description: The footprint introduction project helps students introduce themselves to the class and the teacher. The student will trace their foot and use three different media (e.g., crayon, marker, collage, fabric) to show us things that represent them. The student should also have their name big enough for the class to see and fill the footprint. 

Extension Activity: An extension activity to accompany this could be used in science. The students would trace their feet but the student will choose an animal and style it into a version of an animal track or habitat. This way the students can tie in about the animal's ecosystems or habitats and learn new things about the animals.
