Van Gogh Collage

Description: We picked a piece of construction paper of our choice. We created the background with tissue paper making sure to cover the whole space. We used paintbrushes and glue to keep the tissue paper down. We let the glue dry overnight. The next day we created a scene of our choice, I chose the dessert and cactuses. We then cut out black construction paper to glue onto the tissue paper to create more texture. 

Extension Activity: An extension activity for this project could be a weather project. The students will learn about the different seasons we experience. The students will then create landscapes inspired by the seasons like fall, winter, spring, or summer. This will help the students think about how weather can affect the landscape and recreate their own season scene.
